  • Watch History & Lists: Movie and TV show diary entries, logged dates, platform selections, rating scores, review notes, and watchlist items.
  • Public Profile Preferences: Settings indicating whether your username and logged watchlist/diary are public or private.
  • Device Info: Basic browser parameters, screen resolution, and diagnostic logs used for platform stability, styling layout compatibility, and overall optimization.

2. How We Use Information

We use the collected information for the following purposes:

  • To provide and maintain the core Service (e.g. syncing your watchlists and diary logs).
  • To generate customized AI recommendations and show suggestions based on your logged history (when requested).
  • To compile aggregate, anonymous community activity statistics (such as the Trending page activity feed).
  • To improve Site performance, detect security anomalies, and address technical bugs.

3. Data Sharing & Third Parties

We do not sell, rent, or distribute your personal data. We utilize third-party sub-processors to power essential components of our platform:

  • Firebase (Google Cloud): For database hosting (Firestore), app hosting, secure authentication, and assets storage.
  • TMDB API: For fetching movie/TV show artwork and metadata (no personal identifier data is shared with TMDB).
  • Google Analytics: For tracking page impressions and general user action flows (e.g. CTA clicks) to improve visual layouts and UI design.

4. Cookies & Tracking

We use cookies and equivalent local storage tokens (such as Firebase auth tokens) to maintain your login session across visits. We also use standard Google Analytics tags to compile anonymous traffic stats. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though some session-based features of the Site may not function as a result.

5. Data Retention & Deletion

We retain your account data and watch diary for as long as your account is active. If you wish to delete your account and remove all your logged data from our servers, you can initiate account deletion from the Settings page, which permanently purges your account documents from our database.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect operational or legal changes. We will post updates directly on this page with the updated “Last Updated” date.
